REQUIREMENTS:
==============================================

There are 4 ESPs included:-
1. X-jiit.esp The basic races, not dependent on anything but Morrowind.
2. X-jiitTails.esp The optional tails, again, no expansions needed.
3. X-jiitCompanionsTB.esp The companions, Tribunal needed (for scripting functions). Use only one of these!
4. X-jiitCompanionsBM.esp The companions, Bloodmoon needed (for scripting functions). Use only one of these!
==============================================
ABOUT THIS MOD:
===============================================

The base ESP adds 6 new races to Vvardenfell, all results of crossbreeding between Khajiit and Elf or human races.
(After investigating the lore, the most feasible explanation is bored noblewomen 'amusing' themselves with their khajiiti slaves/servants/acquaintances. Ahem) As the result of such a union would be a disgrace, the infants were given to the slaves to bring up and educate, hence their speech and mannerisms.

They are naturally stealthy, have an aptitude for unarmed combat and have inherited some of their abilities from their maternal side.

My apologies for the lame race names (not to mention the title of this mod), but at least they're reasonably descriptive.

I have reanimated vampire heads for each race, complete with animated flaming eyes™. See 'known issues or bugs' below.

A pair of clothing vendors can be found hanging about near an abandoned shack just outside Gnaar Mok.

---------------------------------------------

The tail ESP adds . . . wait for it . . . . . TAILS!, slightly remodelled and physiqued versions of AlienSlof's tiger tails.
I KNOW the sneak pose makes them look as though they need to use the litter/gravel tray, but that just adds to the realism.
How's that for role play :P

---------------------------------------------

The companion ESPs add 2 companions, a female Impjiit to Desele's place and a male Brejiit to the Suran Tradehouse. They won't join you until you have reached a certain level, as their equipment is relatively good. I have included a Bloodmoon dependent ESP for those of you with Bloodmoon but not Tribunal, DO NOT use both the companion ESPs, only one.

---------------------------------------------

No quests or hidden bonuses,I had enough trouble getting the companions' greetings to work correctly.

The following cells were altered slightly by this mod:

Bitter Coast Region -9, 2
Suran, Desele's House of Earthly Delights
Suran, Suran Tradehouse

===============================================
INSTALLATION:
===============================================

Just extract to your Morrowind\Data Files directory.
I have included many hair meshes from various sources, but have not altered them in any way. Therefore, when Unzipping, you'll probably get an overwrite confirmation dialogue. Feel free to say no if you already have the files installed.

===============================================
PLAYING THIS PLUGIN:
===============================================

To add the races, make sure X-jiit.esp is activated
To add tails, make sure X-jiitTails.esp is activated, IN ADDITION to X-jiit.esp
To add the companions, make sure one of the X-jiitCompanions.esp is activated, IN ADDITION to X-jiit.esp.
You can have either the tail or a companion ESP, or both, but neither will work without X-jiit.esp activated.
Sorry if this sounded obvious, but if you're new to plugins, I hope everything's clear.
You can either start a new game to play as one of the new races, or simply use one or both of the companions already placed in the game.

===============================================
KNOWN ISSUES OR BUGS:
===============================================

The 1st person hands will not show up correctly until you save and reload.
The animated vampire heads show up as black on the 'paper doll' in the inventory menu.
Similarly, most of the new clothes will not show up correctly on the 'paper doll' due to the way the game handles alpha channels.

===============================================
VERSION HISTORY
===============================================

This is the first version, version 1.0, and is unlikely to be updated unless I've done something REALLY silly.

===============================================
INCOMPATIBILITIES & SAVED GAME WARNINGS
===============================================

Always make sure that you backup your existing savegame before use.

The Dwemer Armor will NOT match if you're using a texture replacer that alters the normal Dwemer armor.

This mod was cleaned with the Enchanted Editor.

CREDITS
===============================================

Most of this mod is simply a 'remix' of others' work, so the real credit should go to them:

AlienSlof, who allowed me to use her White Tiger Photoshop files. Without those, this mod would not have happened.

The Better Bodies team and Erstam for the seamless meshes.

Fariel of the BB team for the Photoshop files of the BB textures.

Emma for letting me use her retextured heads - ALL the heads in this mod are Emma's.

Gorg, Silaria, Zul, Rhedd, Elric_Melnibone and Emma for the hair meshes and/or textures.

Nioliv, for her bodysuit, flat soled boot and dress meshes.

Neuman for the ubiquitous 'tight dress' mesh, used by Calislahn's oufits.

Grumpy, for his 'plug and play' companion scripts.

Farren Hayden, Russell Maytham and Argent, for the Enchanted Editor.

Mental Elf, for TESFILES, without which I'd STILL be checking if I'd included the right textures.

Bethesda Softworks, for having the good sense to create an easily moddable game, thereby extending it's playability (and sales!).

And finally, Calislahn, for her fur and snakeskin outfits, endless (seemingly) help and advice and finally finding out why the new vampire heads weren't working correctly, after I'd spent many fruitless hours trying to fix them.

If I have forgotten anybody I apologise, it's just that there are so many incredibly talented modders around. How can I possibly be expected to remember you all :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Me for putting it all together, reanimating all the vampire heads, copying the 1700+ voice entries (Oooh, that was fun!), texturing the remaining clothes, altering Bethesda's dwemer armor, making a shield, claw and physiqueing the tail.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

My beta testers: Calislahn, Bravo1 & LadyRae. Thankyou all :)

Also thanks to everybody at Perceptual Motion, the Rethan Manor forums and the ES forums who offered suggestions and support.

PERMISSIONS
=============================================

Feel free to use anything I've personally made for your own nefarious purposes, just a tiny little credit in the readme would be nice. All other meshes and textures are subject to the creator's approval. I'd also like to know where my 'stuff' is being used, contact details can be found at the end of this readme, thanks.

=============================================
SPECIAL NOTES
=============================================

You may want to alter the companions' race(s). In order to do this open the CS and load the base ESP and the Companion ESP, making sure it is the Companion ESP that is active. In the NPC tab, find ROO_Lucky (Female) or ROO_Greebo (Male), double click on the companion of your choice and alter the race. DO NOT alter the script, ID or Class, as this will cause errors.
Now save and go play!
IMPORTANT: The TAIL ESP must be loaded after the base ESP, or the tails won't show up in-game.

I have included 3 photoshop .PSD files (Made with PaintShopPro) for you to make your own faces with, I offer absolutely no support/tutorial/advice for these, so please don't Email me asking what to do with them!
